After Nuclear Power school, I was sent to the Naval Nuclear Power Training Unit, West Milton Site, just outside of Ballston Spa, NY, to learn the details of Naval nuclear power plants and to learn and operate the D1G reactor plant in preparation for a surface shipboard assignment.
